Traditional wisdom passed down through the ages has left countless clues.

Here are some steps to help you along your way:

Self-Discovery

Reflect on your interests, passions, and what comes naturally to you.

Prioritize these aspects as guidance and let no man (or woman) pull asunder.

Strengths Assessment

Identify your strengths using tools like the CliftonStrengths assessment, NERIS Type Explorer, Fascination Advantage, etc.

There are many modern tools you can leverage to help you understand your innate gifts and how they may be applied in the physical world.

Skill Development

Focus on honing the skills related to your strengths through deliberate practice and learning.

While traditional education is useful for foundational theory, it is only through practical application of skills that you’ll truly learn.

Utilize the tools that are abundantly available — all gates are irrelevant.

Goal Setting

Define clear objectives for what you want to achieve.

“SMART Goals” — Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound — are key for meaningful progress in any endeavor you wish to grow.

Practice and Patience

Consistent repetition and extreme patience are essential for mastery which should be the ultimate intention of any undertaking.

Upon mastering any area of interest or actualizing any vision, you get to move onto your next area of interest.

Your life experiences and achievements are cumulative and compounding.

Learning from Others

Study individuals who excel in areas aligned with your desires and be weary of “false prophets” who seek to capitalize on memorized words and manipulation.

Overcoming Challenges

Embrace and seek opportunities to fail as learning opportunities.

Persistence through challenges is the way to win your “power ups” throughout the game of life.

Feedback

Seek constructive feedback from mentors, peers, and experts who understand how to constructively poke holes in your theories to refine your abilities.

Avoid anyone who starts or seeks to diminish your light .

Adaptation

Adapt your strengths to different contexts and challenges.

Constant iteration is contrary to the comfort of society but will serve you well to consider.

Empathy and Collaboration

Use your strengths to connect with others and contribute positively by showing them the way.

When you walk your path as God has laid out you needn’t hoard, hide, or gatekeep your gifts.

Remember that recognizing and developing your strengths is an ongoing journey and your "superpowers" can evolve as you continue to learn and grow.

As you get comfortable in any iteration or circumstance your ego will trick you into believing that you are more important and more “special” than you really are as each and every being alive is here with his or her own destiny.

When you believe and assert that your life — or the lives of any select group — matter more than any others, you will be reminded of your divinity through conflict.

Whether or not you recognize that in the lessons presented is inconsequential as God never tires from His task.
